Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all purchases made on The Home Tuitions platform ("thehometuitions.com" and "thehometuitions.in"), operated by The Home Tuitions ("we", "us", "our"). By purchasing any credit package or service, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Credit Packages

Credit packages purchased on our platform are used to unlock tutor contacts, access premium features, and avail other services. Credits are non-transferable between accounts.

  • Credits once used (e.g., to unlock a tutor contact) cannot be refunded.
  • Unused credits remain in your wallet and do not expire.
  • Duplicate purchases due to payment gateway errors will be fully refunded within 7 working days.

3. Eligibility for Refunds

You may request a refund in the following cases:

  • Payment charged but credits not received: If a payment was deducted but credits were not added to your wallet due to a technical error.
  • Duplicate transaction: If you were charged multiple times for the same purchase.
  • Service unavailability: If a purchased service could not be delivered due to platform issues within 48 hours of purchase.

4. Non-Refundable Items

  • Credits that have already been used to unlock contacts or access services.
  • Subscription or package purchases after 7 days from the date of purchase (if unused credits remain, they stay in your wallet).
  • Any promotional or bonus credits received as part of offers.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at support@thehometuitions.in with the subject line "Refund Request".
  2. Include your registered phone number, email address, transaction ID, and reason for the refund.
  3. Our team will review your request within 3 working days and respond with a resolution.

6. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 working days.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method (bank account, UPI, or card).
  • Processing time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

7. Cancellation of Services

You may cancel your account or stop using our services at any time. Upon cancellation:

  • Unused credits in your wallet will remain available for 90 days from the date of cancellation.
  • After 90 days, unused credits may be forfeited.
  • Active tuition arrangements between parents and tutors are independent of the platform and will not be affected by account cancellation.

8. Dispute Resolution

If you are unsatisfied with the resolution of your refund request, you may escalate the matter by emailing support@thehometuitions.in with the subject "Refund Escalation". We aim to resolve all disputes within 15 working days.

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
