Where tuition usually goes wrong here
Medium is the first question in Ahmedabad, not the second. A Gujarati-medium HSC Science student and an English-medium one are sitting the same syllabus, but the textbooks, the terminology and the way the answer is expected to be written are not interchangeable — and a teacher who is fluent in the content but not in the medium will slow a student down rather than speed them up. We match on medium as deliberately as on subject.
The second Ahmedabad-specific thing is GUJCET, which sits on the HSC Science syllabus and is sat days after the board papers. Students who prepare only in board style meet an objective, time-pressured paper at the worst possible moment.
