Where tuition usually goes wrong here
Gurugram has a board mix no other Indian city of its size has: a child three sectors away may be sitting an IB Diploma, an A Level or a CBSE board, and the help each needs is genuinely different work. An IB student usually does not need more content — they need someone who can sit with an Internal Assessment and a lab report and teach the criteria. A CBSE student in the same block needs past papers and marking-scheme discipline. We match on the board for that reason, and the counsellor will ask which one before anything else.
The practical argument for online here is the city itself. Evening traffic through Golf Course Road or Sohna Road turns a 45-minute lesson into a two-hour commitment for whoever is driving, and a travelling tutor prices that in. A video class at 7.30 pm is 7.30 pm, and when a parent is still at the office it still happens.

A Class 12 Physics teacher who has taught the HSC paper for a decade is a rare find inside one neighbourhood. Online, the search area is the whole country, so the match is made on subject depth instead of on who lives nearby.
A tutor who travels an hour each way charges for that hour somewhere. A 7 pm class starts at 7 pm, and a missed class is rescheduled rather than written off.

It depends on class, board and how many sessions a week — a Class 4 Maths slot and a Class 12 Physics slot are not the same work. The counsellor quotes you a monthly figure before the demo, and you pay the teacher monthly, not up front.
