Where tuition usually goes wrong here
Delhi is the one city where the board and the entrance exam pull in the same direction: CBSE is what the school teaches and CBSE is what JEE and NEET are built on. The gap that opens instead is between the school syllabus and the depth the entrance papers ask for, and it usually opens in Class 11 — a child who was comfortable through Class 10 meets rotational motion and organic chemistry and discovers that the textbook is a floor, not a ceiling.
The other Delhi-specific pressure is CUET. Since Delhi University admission moved to it, a Class 12 subject is no longer only a board paper — it is an entrance paper too, and the preparation for the two is not identical. Online one-to-one is useful here precisely because it can be narrow: two hours a week on exactly the one subject the CUET score will turn on, without rebuilding a whole timetable around it.

It is better at some things and worse at others, and it is worth knowing which before you book a demo.
A Class 12 Physics teacher who has taught the HSC paper for a decade is a rare find inside one neighbourhood. Online, the search area is the whole country, so the match is made on subject depth instead of on who lives nearby.
A tutor who travels an hour each way charges for that hour somewhere. A 7 pm class starts at 7 pm, and a missed class is rescheduled rather than written off.
It is not a recorded course, an app or a batch of forty on a call. And outside Lucknow it is not a teacher in your drawing room — we do not send anyone to the house in these cities, and we would rather say so here than on the phone.
